我們這一區的宿舍（宿舍的北翼）不知道為什麼，常常會有火災警報。在電腦前坐著時、或是在上廁所時，突然聽到超大聲的警報器響起而跳起來的次數，大概不下於五次了吧。但昨天這次最誇張。
竟然在半夜兩點給我響！！！

地點：倫敦從Ikea回地鐵站的公車上
時間：傍晚

事情，還是從缺水那個晚上開始的...
在缺水隔天我買了有檸檬味的氣泡水之後，為了怕晚上我會因為嘴饞而偷吃宵夜，所以就在飯後泡了一杯茶來喝。

繼前幾天的斷水事件之後，昨晚洗澡時水又給我出了問題。不管開了多久，出來的依舊是半溫不熱的水，甚至還有越來越冷的趨勢。沒辦法的我，只好就著那水，用最快的速度洗完澡。當場只有OX在心頭的感覺。水啊水，可以不要再跟我作對了嗎？我承認輸了，就放我一馬了吧...

這兩篇是我目前小說架構課的作業，前者是小說劇情，後者是設定。雖然老師說她不擅長奇幻和科幻的領域，所以有問過我是否要把這篇改寫成沒有這兩個元素的小說，但我怎麼想都還是覺得維持這樣最好。
這個構想是我看完香草天空（到目前為止都還是我最愛的電影之一）之後產生的，一樣和真實與虛幻、記憶與意識有關係。也想在裡面探討一點有關所謂「人的存在」這個有點哲學性的問題，不過不知道會不會成功就是了。

The World: A computer program installed inside of May’s mind to make her believe that she is still living a normal life, rather than under cryonics. It’s a stimulation of life in the early 21st century, in a big city such as London. The program is controlled by the doctors but also has partial artificial intelligence, so it can interact with May’s thought and will react accordingly.

Hans and May are a couple living together, who live a rather normal life until one day May starts to have bad dreams. In the dreams she finds herself wandering alone amidst darkness. She feels she is being led somewhere, but something keeps her from ever finding out where. Hans doesn’t take her dreams too seriously, but then one day he returns home and finds May missing. Worried Hans begins to search for May, but just about the same time, a mysterious man shows up and shot Hans through the chest.
Hans wakes up in the hospital but amazingly, he seems to be unharmed at all. Not knowing why, he goes back home, but only to find someone else living in his place. All the trace of him living there is gone, no one seems to remember he, and the mysterious man is after him again. Confused and frightened, Hans runs away from his place, and comes across with a girl who leads him to an underground city—The Erased. Hans finds many people there had similar experience like him, and they generously offer him to stay there with them. But eager to find May, Hans refuses and continues his journey to find out the truth behind all these.

今天早上自己要點進網誌來的時候，突然發現不知道為什麼，相簿上的連結失效了，完全沒辦法點。許多類似的版面背景也會有同樣的問題，所以不得已之下換了這個版面。雖然也不是不好看，但我還是喜歡我的貓啊......無名快點修好吧！！！

缺水危機或許已經解除。大副一早跟我報告，所儲存的水目前似乎已經過濾完畢，應該是可以飲用的樣子。他已經找了一名划槳手，讓他試喝了一點水看看。目前船醫正在密切注意觀察該名划槳手，是否有出現腹瀉甚至更糟的狀況。
